In a financially frenzied world, it seems like everything is for sale. Without even realizing it, we put our satisfaction up for sale when we are compelled to get a newer, better, faster “it”. And we put our freedom up for sale when we climb into the crater of debt. And we even put our own soul up for sale when get to the point where every decision comes down to dollars and cents. We weren’t meant to live that way! Ecclesiastes 5.10 shouts at the money chasers “whoever loves money never has money enough.” Not everything is for sale. And we will be taking a look at the things that were never meant to be “for sale”.

We will also be starting an “all skate” small group study called LO$T. The study begins the week of 10.5. For more about a group that might fit you check out the love people page at www.cedarridge.cc

When the series is over, we will be turning talk into action at the Thanks and Giving event on Friday, 7. We will celebrate what God has done in and through Cedar Ridge over the last year and we will be giving some of what we have been given to reach further and grow deeper in 2009.
